For most couples, one of the vendors at the top of the list to book is: the photographer. Having photographs of your wedding day ensures that you will remember every last detail; What the decor looked like, who was there, and how beautiful everything was. So, when Maire and Tyler got engaged, it was naturally one of the most important aspects of their upcoming wedding.
Jen from Wren Photography gifted our giveaway couple her "Love Birds Collection" package, which includes: a one hour engagement session, consultation to set up the wedding day timeline, 9 consecutive hours of coverage with 2 photographers, 18 hours of editing and retouching work, a ten spread (20 page) 10x10 legacy photo album, online proofing in a password protected gallery for a year, 2 part wedding blog, 500 images to choose from for printing, and a print party after the wedding.
"Having timeless and stunning wedding photographs were a must have for Tyler and I," Maire said, "We were so excited to have a photographer that does just that. Jen has such an incredible talent for finding the perfect lighting, making couples feel comfortable, and capturing the absolute perfect moments."
Jen is such a special photographer and person. She's that thoughtful touch you didn't know you needed - whether that's placing a tissue in your hand at the exact moment you needed one, or ensuring you and your new spouse take 5 minutes alone to let your day sink in and reflect. She thinks of every detail.
"Before our engagement session, Jen wanted to know what outfits Tyler and I had planned so that she could choose the perfect locations to go with our style. From the cherry blossoms, to the tunnel of trees, and the shores of Lake Leelanau (my little piece of heaven), she located both beautiful and magical backdrops for our photos," Maire said.
Jen also has a way with people - she can make just about anyone comfortable in any situation, and leaves no room for stiff poses or fake smiles.
"Tyler and I were very nervous going into our engagement shoot because we have never gotten our photos professionally taken. I was expecting us to look very awkward in the photos because our posing skills are non-existent," Maire said, "But Jen is so talented that she knew how to make two uncoordinated people look like they were meant to pose! She made us feel so comfortable. After 15 minutes, the posing began to feel effortless."

"We are so thankful for Jen and her close attention to detail. We are beyond excited to see our wedding photos, if they are half as beautiful as our engagement photos they will be stunning!"
