That French Place

"Do you want to feel like you are eating decadent desserts straight from a bakery in France? Go to That French Place!"

Maire and Tyler were so excited to partner with That French Place for some of the most lovely desserts out there for their wedding reception. Emily of That French Place graciously donated a 'decadent display of Macarons and the couple's choice of tarts for dessert" for the wedding giveaway.

"Emily is a true artist when it comes to creating, designing, and baking stunning and delicious little treats!" Marie said. "Tyler was not a fan of macarons, but that changed immediately once he took a bite of one of Emily's creations! Emily has such a passion for curating the best experience while eating her little creations. She will ensure that you will get the absolute best of the best when it comes to her desserts. Not only is she a master at making them, she has so much knowledge when it comes to what to pair the macarons with, when to serve them, how long they last, and what color combinations will look best."

Having macarons and French inspired desserts was totally off the radar for Maire and Tyler when initially planning their wedding, and they were so excited to be able to present their guests with such unique treats!

"Tyler and I didn't come prepared with flavors, colors, or the style we were looking for. That did not stop Emily from creating an amazing spread of various flavor combination macarons. We tried so many different flavor combination. They were each so delicious that it made it nearly impossible to choose our favorites," Maire said.

Emily can make just about any flavor of macaron you can dream up. To name a few, she's created: Moscow Mule, smoked salmon, wasabi, chocolate cherry... and so many more.

"Macarons aren't Emily's only specialty. She makes incredible cookies, crepes, tarts, and her husband is even and ice cream maker. What more could you want?!" Maire said, "Whenever we drive through Charlevoix, we now make it a priority to stop at That French Place. I strongly suggest that you do too - you will get a tase of France that you didn't know you were missing."

That French Place is located at 212 Bridge St in Charlevoix. Check out the photos below from our styled shoot last January, featuring some custom lettered macarons and chocolate tarts!
