"Walking into the studio of Gigi & LaClede was like entering a treasure chest filled with all things vintage and beautiful."
Maire and Tyler recently made the trip down to Grand Rapids to Gigi & LaClede, and their colorful collection of vintage items.
Maire details their experience here:
"Holly, the owner of Gigi & LaClede, has such an acute eye for detail, design, and antique elegance. Holly’s studio is filled with gorgeous vintage goblets in any beautiful jewel toned color, vintage plates, serving platters, fur stoles, antique furniture, and any other pretty accessory your table might need to be dressed up. While looking through Holly’s collection of stunning dishware, I thought 'I wonder how many table setting combinations one could make out of all these dishes?' Soon after that thought, I realized that there is an infinite amount of options – that is how many different pieces for place settings that Gigi & LaClede has to offer.
When we arrived, Holly instantly greeted us with big hug and even bigger smile. She listened intently when we shared our color scheme, inspiration, and style. Holly then started grabbing plates, chargers, goblets, glasses, silverware, candle holders, and napkins that she knew would fit in with our theme. Like I said before, the options were endless! Every variation that she created was simply stunning and delicately put together.
Ultimately, we decided on a combination that was equally as gorgeous as the rest, but it incorporated a bit more of our personal style and taste.
Holly’s collection of table setting accessories will be sure to take your average looking table to one that people will be swooning over, literally. I think I could have spent another few hours in Holly’s studio admiring all the pretty pieces she has. I never thought that Tyler and I would be able to have the opportunity to make our, mostly my 😊, table setting dreams come true. Holly is incredible to work with, has an eye for intricate design and detail, and will literally make your vision come to life.
